WE CHOOSE ART - A FEMINIST PERSPECTIVE - Featured Visual Art by Masculine de La FEMME

March 06, 2017

Join the We Choose Art team on Friday, March 10th at The Montalban theater and celebrate the 3rd installment of We Choose Art | A Feminist Perspective a group show curated by Baha H. Danesh.

This is a FREE event and doors open at 7:00 PM. Arrive early and explore a night of eclectic fine art, interactive art installations, and mind shifting feminist performances.

Also, for one night only, viewers can experience our Feminist SAFE ZONE Installation, which includes protest signs, photographs, and artwork created by the students of Bravo Medical Highschool inspired by the historic Women’s March in Los Angeles!

A Feminist Perspective will take place upstairs at The Montalban Mezzanine Gallery located at 1615 Vine St, Los Angeles, California 90028.

Following We Choose Art’s philosophy of creating a collaborative community of artistic expression, this unique exhibition continues to document the vibrant and creative culture of modern feminist artists.

The show includes both male and female artists whose works continue the feminist dialogue of equality for all. The work presented spans over 40 years with a diversity of artists working in the Los Angeles area. The featured artists are showing works that deal with concepts of race, class, culture, politics, social commentary and representation of women.
